A short post about our mini visit to Edinburgh Festival where one of us joins a street performance and we discover opera for the people!
My Dad is from Glasgow and his cousins are from Edinburgh. My great grandfather’s name is on one of the war memorials/monuments.
The Glaswegian accent is what I grew up around and I would translate what my Gran and Grandpa said to my friends; they never had a clue!
Also, how often means why. Example of this is, “I could’na say how no” which means “I couldn’t say why not”.

Hey Guys, you won't believe this but we had a day in Edinburgh yesterday and went to the Game On exhibition and had a brilliant day. So pleased you loved Edinburgh, its one of our favourite cities too 🥰
